Math- Making Our Own Graphs

The children did a great job designing their own graph project. First the children decided on a topic question. We collected data on questions such as:

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
What is your favorite animal?
What is your favorite holiday?
What is your favorite day?

After, the children transferred the information from the data collection sheet to a bar graph. Then, we wrote 3 statements about our completed graph in our math journals. Finally, we met with a learning partner and compared our two graphs.
