The Author's Message- Big Al

The author's message was.........
The author's messages were....

it's okay if you are weird but you can still have friends-Ava

even if you are very different you can be friends-Jonathan

you can be friends even if you look different because Big Al had no friends because he looked scary. He had friends when he saved them from the net.-Ian

even if someone is not your friend you should still be friends because Big Al rescued the little fish even though the little fish were not his friends. After, all of the fish were his friends.-Megan

even if you are different you can still be friends because if you help someone you may become friends. Also, because your heart is strong with love. Also, Big Al save the fish so they were friends-    Abigail

you don't need to be the same to have friends. You should still help people who are not your friend. You don't have to be the same size to have friends.-Jonas

to be yourself no matter what happens. Even if you are scary you can still be friends. Remember to be yourself-Amelie

even if you are different you can still be friends with other people or fish. If someone is being mean to you try to make the person happy and you should believe in yourself. Make your life special even if you are different you can still have a lot of friends.- Alex

it doesn't if you are small or big, you can help fish even if you are small or big.-Cecilia

even you are different it doesn't mean  you can be friends. You should always treat people nice.-Caden

no matter how big you are you can still be friends. It does matter if you are different color, you can still be friends- Amaya

heart is stronger than looks  because Big AL was friends with the small fish even though he was Big AL and he was big. He was friends with the little fish because he saved them from being caught. Don't judge people by their looks.- Gavin

just because you are big does not mean you can not have friends because it is your heart that starts friendship not your looks- Penelope

even though you are different you can still be friends- Reece

All School Meeting

Congratulations to Ian, Jonas, Penelope and Amaya for doing such a great job sharing their zones books at the all school meeting. We enjoyed roller coaster counting with the Kindergarten. Also, we are excited about the coin drive for a windmill for a school in Africa.  Please send in your extra coins. If we raise $300, we will be able to purchase a windmill for a school.

Support The Coin Drive

Coin Drive
Our Big Read book The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind by William Kamkwamba and Bryan Mealer has inspired us. This year, all Cutler students have all read William's amazing story of harnessing the wind. Now it's time to gather our coins to build a windmill in Malawi, Africa. If we raise $300.oo, we can buy a windmill for the Wimbe Primary School in Malawi. Three hundred dollars is what it costs to build a public windmill to be located at the primary school. The windmill will allow children to power radios and adults to charge mobile phones. Any coin will do! Let's harness the wind! We will collect coins between now and Family Night and look forward to sharing our total in early June at our next All School Meeting. Thank you!
