Did you mark your calendar? I hope you all will be able to join us for the Open House. It is a very special evening.  If you are not able to come, please send me an email so we can arrange a time you can come and enjoy your child's work and classroom.

Origami Class

Our thanks to The Friends Of Cutler for bringing Mr. LaFosse to our learning community.  The children were all delighted with their duck families and valentine hearts. Here is a link to M. LaFosse's website. It has a great video that highlights his work.

A Little Bit of Spring Heads Home

We had a delightful time watching our paper white bulbs grow and bloom.  The children did a wonderful job recording their observations.  Just think, when the snow melts.........we have a beautiful spring garden ready to bloom.

Math

In math, we have continued practicing efficient counting with groups of tens. Also,we have focused on using a rubric/check list to review our journal entries.

Valentine For Vets

We have enjoyed creating some wonderful valentine cards. This week, the children will continue participating in this nationwide community service project.  The cards will be sent to the Boston Veterans Hospital in Boston in time for Valentines Day.
