A COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT

"My name is Owen Boesch, and I graduated Cutler School last year. For my 6th grade Service Learning project, I am gathering books and supplies to send to the charity Educate African Girls.
Educate African Girls is an initiative of Develop Africa set up to give focus and attention to promoting the education of girls in Africa. More girls are going to school. But as more and more girls go to school, a lack of adequate supplies makes learning very difficult. Poor families simply cannot afford the supplies their children need to learn. Schools are often not much better off. We can help by sending school supplies.
Please consider donating any of the items in this list:
• Calculators
• Spiral bound, composition and other notebooks
• Filler paper
• Binders
• Colored pencils, crayons and markers
• Ruler with English and metric measurements
• Colored pens
• Erasers
• Pencil box
• Glue sticks
• Graph paper
• Pens and pencils
• Pencil sharpeners (individual and classroom)
• Pocket dictionaries
• Pencil cases
• Reams or boxes of paper
My box will be at the Cutler School, outside the office, from October 14 - October 21. It is at the Hamilton-Wenham library through Tuesday, October 14."
