Homework-3D Shapes
Dear Families,
As part of our
current math unit on Distinguishing Attributes of
Shapes, we plan
to create a
class museum of 3 dimensional shaped . objects. We are
asking students to bring in cones, cylinders, rectangular prisms, cubes, and spheres. We will display the objects around our classroom for a few days. Students
will
describe the
objects they
brought from
home.
Then they will each choose
several from our class museum to sketch and describe
in our math journals. We
will return all the objects soon as we finish our museum project. It would
be helpful if you labeled yours
with your
child's name.
