As part of our Kids and Company lesson, the children brainstormed different feeling words for happy and sad. In the program, Mrs. McIllvaine has 2 paper plate faces..Curly Jean/Gene and Curly Jo/Joe that represent feeling happy or sad.
Suggestion: Write each feeling word on a piece of paper and put them in a jar. Have each family member pull out a feeling and share a time they have felt that way or when someone might feel that emotion.
